CW: Spoilers: Dragon Age - The Veilguard
Okay. We all know that I am very pro Veilguard, right? But there are two things that will drive me up the wall.
The sixth regret. And the red lyrium that is just angry.
I'm currently in Emprise Du Lion and have Cole with me. The Inquisitor remarks on how that red lyrium feels warm. And Cole says "It is so angry"
Why did we need a third lyrium that is also red and angry?
Solas: "With this, the proper ritual will sunder every Titan from its spirit. But you must know those severed dreams will certainly be driven mad, a disembodied blight of pain and anger. It is awful, what we're doing."
a disembodied blight of pain and ANGER
Red lyrium is blighted and angry. We didn't need one that was just angry.

I will apologise, but one of the few things that I cannot wrap my head around is the lyrium dagger being the idol and vice versa. Like ... that's a leap I cannot follow.

Thought... 💭
🌟 Tranquil are mages who's dreams were severed, right?
💧 Lyrium is the crystallised blood of Titans' who's... dreams were severed.
🤔 Is that why tranquil can handle lyrium with the same *ease* as dwarfs?

So it was a problem for Krem to serve in the Tevinter military, but not for Tarquin? Make it make sense?

CW: Spoilers: Dragon Age, but especially Andraste and Mythal
So, if Andraste was a carrier of the spark of Mythal, what does that make the Chantry religion?
It was opposition to the Old Gods of Tevinter, Mythal's murder kin whispering in the dreams of magisters through their Archdemons, and almost getting them to free them.
She created a counter religion and led an Exalted March against the Tevinter Imperium in an attempt to keep the world from falling to the Blight.

I think I've never asked that question before.
Solas? What's with all the cheese in your music room?
It contains 23 cheese wheels.

Varric: “So there I was, trying to negotiate, when this tiny walking explosion decides to redecorate the bar using three Venatori and a chair.”

I went again. Meet Milah. Castless duster turned Grey Warden.

To Live Until Death
After losing Manfred, Emmrich Volkarin faces a choice that could cost him eternity. Astrid walks with him through grief, danger, and memories too heavy to bear alone.
A slow-burn story of fear, loss, and the courage it takes to face life and the inevitable death at its end. -
CW: Spoiler: Dragon Age - The Veilguard
One thing about The Veilguard bothers me to no avail.
When you go and save Treviso, you do not see Dorian again until the final battle. Like, excuse me? The Shadow Dragons went underground? Magister Dorian Pavus went UNDERGROUND? Into HIDING? Are you serious? That guy joined the Inquisition to kick Venatori ass, but he hides when his own city is under siege?
I can basically hear him protest.
"Really? You think I’d crouch in a corner? Ridiculous!"Yes, I wanted him as an advisor, thank you very much. And Mae as well. I also take the Viper as advisor, if he is who I think he is.

Solas: "Were matters not pressing, it would be a privilege to speak with you further, professor."
Emmrich: "If you're willing. I must admit: there are questions the Watchers have long desired answers to."[head-canon insert]
Astrid, arching a brow: "You do realize you’re speaking to the man who locked me in his personal Fade prison, yes?"
Emmrich, without missing a beat: "My apologies, dearest. You’re right, of course. But..." his eyes flick to Solas, gleaming with curiosity "...imagine the possibilities..."
Astrid, muttering under her breath: "I can imagine plenty. None of them good."
Solas, with the faintest of smiles: "You chose your companion well, Rook. The Mourn Watch has always prized curiosity above caution."
Emmrich: "It’s the only way we ever learn."
Astrid, dryly: "Or land in a prison made of regret. Or turned into a statue. Or, in some cases, heartbroken..."
