Introducing the Global Spore Sampling Project🍄
This project collected airborne spore samples across 47 sites around the world, resulting in 2,768 extracted #DNA samples over two years. 🧬 Researchers identified 27,945 species-level taxonomic units from these samples. 🔎
The resulting dataset was mobilized to GBIF using the GBIF Metabarcoding Data Toolkit, with support from #GBIFFinland!
