Saturday flea market pickups- AOC and the Freshman Force Early Voter Edition for laughs, Mad with a groovy #SergioAragones cover. Batman Gotham Knights is a interesting comic, the early issues had a Batman Black & White backup feature with some cool artists pitching in, and great covers by #Brian Bolland and #DarwynCooke.

#NCBD plus one - Another #FrankFrazetta book and Opus pries another five bucks out of me this week. #MikeAllred still going strong on The Excellent, and I picked up four #DarwynCooke comics for less than half cover price!

Recently read: Superman Kryptonite by Darwyn Cooke, Tim Sale, & Dave Stewart. This hidden gem of a Mid-2000’s story was originally printed as Superman Confidential #1-5 & 11. Kryptonite serves as a spiritual sequel to Superman For All Seasons with artist Tim Sale returning to the man of steel. It’s a very personal journey for Superman and one I think more should read. I took everything I learned from my amazingly talented pal Darwyn Cooke and put it into one tutorial video. It's called How to Draw Crowd Scenes because it's all about the shortcuts he used to make cartooning faster, while enriching the story.
