How Bright Is Your Lamp?
How much light do you have? God challenged me with these questions as my Gem of Knowledge today: "How much light do you have? How much oil do you have? How bright do you keep your lamp burning? Enough for others to come to the light or just enough to barely see for yourself? Who will have the more rewarding journey? Amen." Is my walk with Christ just enough to get me through the day? Or is my life shining brightly enough that someone else might be drawn toward Jesus because of what they see in me? The truth is, people who are lost don't need to see a dimly glowing faith. They need to see the hope, peace, joy, and love that only Jesus can produce. They need someone whose lamp is burning brightly enough to help guide them toward the Savior. Go shine.
