Darkest Dungeon has just released a new major DLC.
Even though they haven't released any DLC for it since 2020, and they've subsequently released Darkest Dungeon II (2023).
The new DLC ports two character classes from DD2 back to DD1, as well as some new mechanics and some new hamlets.
Guess I'm starting a new adventure..

8 ans après sa sortie, Darkest Dungeon (oui, le premier !) va avoir droit à un nouveau DLC (prix inconnu).
The Fire's Edge sera dispo le 18 août (plus tard sur Xbox) et importera 2 classes venant de Darkest Dungeon II (le duelliste et l’évadée) et quelques mécanismes, mais aussi 3 nouveaux quartiers pour ton village de désespérés.

Before I get sucked into the nextfest, I wanted to give a shout out to the first #gacha game I've really enjoyed, #ChaosZeroNightmare. It's a mix of #SlayTheSpire and #DarkestDungeon. And it plays really well, with a lot of creative abilities with interesting interplay. Plus, having one of your crew fight their way back from a mental break just in time unleash an ultimate on the #Lovecraftian horror boss is fist-pumpingly-awesome.

So I'm playing Darkest Dungeon 1. Love the art, the narration, the story, but because I'm a casual gamer I can't beat it without cheating (mods.) Last night I decided to play the entire game with the first 4 people you start with (I'm cheating btw) and discovered that when you enter the Darkest Dungeon level, sometimes the party won't go back. I literally had to stop the game there. Now I'm back to playing without mods, and on week 3 and 5 already in the graveyard.
