  6. Bonus: Choco Changer made my night miserable and turned my ass into a disaster area. I got diarrhea from it.

  7. I'm disappointed again.

I tried Choco Changer. The wrapper says "Support Cocoa Farmers." Great!

The design of this chocolate bar sucks balls. I'm going to link a YT short that shows how it is designed. Why couldn't they just use a square grid to create the lines in the chocolate. In my view, the funky pattern they used is just made to have you take bigger chunks out of the chocolate than you otherwise would. This is crap.

The taste is better than the Choceur I had last, but it is not as good as Moser Roth.

I'll note that this is also made by Choceur, but they are not upfront about this. What are they trying to hide. (Note that for the bars I've seen sold in Europe, "Choceur" is right on the front of the packaging. However, the bar that I bought does not have "Choceur" printed anywhere that I could see on the outside. It is only on the inside of the packaging that you can see it.)

    Disappointed, again!

  8. CW: Rambling about possible weight loss and factors

It seems possible that I've lost one or two pounds recently. I had a stable weight plateau that might be shifting downward now. There were some recent changes intended to bring that about, and also some confounding factors:

-- a diluted tablespoon of cider vinegar every morning; even diluted it's so offensive to me - malic acid? - that I can barely finish the cup, but allegedly it aided weight loss in children. Being an adult, do I need to change the dose?

-- a handful of pistachios every day

-- a little extra fiber, in the form of sandiches with "keto" bread and alfalfa or other sprouts

-- a half dozen dark chocolate milkshakes in the last couple weeks, LARGE ones that use half a bucket of Breyer's Natural Vanilla (that isn't so natural since Unilever got its mitts on the company and added gum to it). Did I gain benefit from the dark chocolate in spite of the calorie excess, as recounted by someone else?
    autistics.life/@SilverArrows/1

-- deep depression for some weeks that often results in me sleeping most of the day, avoiding even my usual distractions.

That's a lot of confounding factors and the loss is yet small, so a pattern is not yet obvious.

  10. Okay, so I tried, and I was disappointed.

I like dark chocolate, a lot.

Usually, I buy Moser Roth dark chocolate at Aldi. 70% cocoa. That chocolate gives me a nice punch to the face when I eat it.

Today I decided to also buy Choceur. It has a 49% cocoa content. I decided to buy both at the same time, in order to compare.

There's no comparison. The Moser Roth is better all around. The Choceur has no punch to it. It also tastes buttery for some reason.

From now on, Moser Roth it is.

    What the hell is?

Toblerome yet again making a unamimous decision about what consumers want. Oh wait, what they mean is, "the sales are slightly off".

    Pfft.

I'm curious for any #swiss folk out there -- what's the popularity of dark chocolate like?

Personally, I love dark chocolate. The UK once did. Just look at #bourneville -- it's always been that way.
