  2. I don't entirely get why #DoRevenge did better with critics than #DarbyandtheDead. They both feel pretty similar to me tbh: teen comedies about two girls who form an unlikely friendship in which one gives the other a popular-girl makeover.

  7. #DarbyAndTheDead has nothing to do with Christmas but Auli'i Cravalho, Riele Downs, and Nicole Maines are STELLAR in this ghostly teenage romcom. CW: the bullying is out of control, though. short of bloody violence but weirdly barely apologized for.
