Anyone using #dape with #ruby ? I am currently debugging a quite large and messy codebase, and I had to resort to Jetbrains #rubymine to get a powerful debugger with visual breakpoints (which is much faster than dropping `debugger` statements everywhere). Rubymine is cool, but I'd like to stay in Emacs for that.

Dape just does not work, and the README basically says : "you can use it for ruby". That's it.

11 more days to fulfill my last year resolution - to use #Emacs as IDE for #Drupal development. What's been holding me back is the debugger (#xdebug). I know about three packages #geben, #dap and #dape, but I don't know which to choose. Would you recommend me one? I'm a bit hesitant to use nodejs based solution, but only a bit. ⌨️ 💻

Finally, I figured out how to use `dape` to debug Java. However, when switching projects, the `filepath` doesn't switch automatically, which is really annoying. It seems like a bug. #emacs #dape #java

The #dape package for #emacs is pretty dope! It was straightforward to use it to step through rspec. A little colorful for my taste, but nothing a little face customizing won't fix
