  2. Make the Easter table a little more fun! 🐰🎀

It’s the details that make the difference! Easter decor doesn't always have to shout with bright yellow colors. This year, we’ve set a calm, Nordic Easter table focusing on white tablecloth and natural materials.

  4. Elevating an icon. ✨

While Hans J. Wegner’s CH24 Wishbone chair is a masterpiece on its own, adding this rich brown leather cushion brings a whole new dimension of warmth to the design. The beautiful contrast between the natural leather and the light wood frame is the perfect finishing touch for this calm, Nordic corner. 🤎

  7. Two years later here's the next #danishdesign.

The KEVI office chair. The most comfortable workshop chair I've ever encountered. Absolutely perfect.

KEVI is a family of chairs with the 1960s ones having four legs, and the newer ones five. There's many types of upholstery.

These are commonly seen in offices and workshops. I don't understand why they're not more common outside DK.

Mine is an older one picked up today. Edit: it received some TLC and is now in my hobby room!

  10. Operation #culture continues, I was especially struck by the #Climate #Craftivism exhibit (+ #Greenland minerals)

@[email protected] - highlights from the Danish Design Museum: thought provoking exhibition on the future + sustainable materials, textiles, craftivism + exploring how gold + rubies, mined in Greenland become exquisitely beautiful jewellery - displayed alongside the industrial machinery to mine them.

  11. The PH Artichoke light fitting was designed in 1958 by #PoulHenningsen (1894-1967) for a modernist restaurant in #Copenhagen. #PH, in addition to being a designer was also an author, critic, journalist, architect and film director.

His mother #AgnesHenningsen was a writer and sexual freedom activist.

A communist sympathiser, and similarly to most Jewish Danes, he fled Denmark to Sweden in a rowing boat in 1943 during the Nazi occupation, returning in 1945.

  12. And the last one for now. Very #stylish and also a genuine joy in its ease of installing: the Verner Panton Flowerpot Lamp VP1. #danishdesign 101.

A staple of doctor waiting rooms, home kitchens and minimalist office buildings this lamp comes in tonnes of colors and has penetrated Danish society in a way normally only IKEA products can. It's a quality product for a reasonable price.

Here's ours hanging in the kitchen. It's totally fricking hygge even though the photo is bad:
