My first official release was on a Swedish compilation cd called Kittenish 3. This cd shows the rich underground music scene of Sweden in the late 90's. The track is called Toy Factory, and the name actually refers to all the instruments and equipment that i used in the studio.

The current obsession with the dichotomy of either "facing the dj" or "facing each other" (the new and inauthentic way, versus the old and authentic way) completely ignores the good old tradition of facing the speakers.
As speakers are often located in approximately the same direction as the dj booth, a direction known as "forward", you shouldn't assume that people on a #dancefloor are facing forward because they want to face the #dj. It makes good sense to face the speakers, maybe more so than constantly seeking eye contact with other dancers. -
