Finally took the time for some dance creation. I went into the studio without expectations, just wanted to explore some stuff I've had in mind for a while. But then this came out of it. Hope you enjoy it :)

Won an award for “Best Environmental Film” for my hard to categorize dance film, Our Nature! I just wanted to make the film I wanted to make, so it’s awesome and flattering when a competitive film festival like the Short Sweet Film Fest in Cleveland actually invents a new award for me :). 📖💃🏽 Each #January my mind tends to revisit an amazing time in uni during my 1st 'Winter Term' (aka #Oberlin Jan-Term) ~ a self-led #dance '#residency'..
Studio practice, #art #journalling, delving into #DanceFilm & #music archives, & developing creative process ~ amidst stillness & solitude of a small town in sleepy depths of #Winter ❄
Heavenly ☺
Want more of this type of #interdisciplinary #creativity! 🔜🤞🏽💫
