Tuesday! The day where we say . . . Tuesday!
Realized yesterday I have to rewrite everything after chapter 1 in this book. Needless to say, there was pouting.
So after this morning's errands, it's off to the word mines!

Apparently I snore when I drink. I complained to the doctor that I'm always tired. Doctor set me up for a sleep study (at home) and I was careful to drink before the study. I ask Russ, "Did I snore?"
Russ: Nope.

Do you work on code? Do you code with other people? Your main branch is a commons. If the build for main is broken, it's up to everyone to fix it. It doesn't matter who broke it. Save that discussion for the post mortem so you can figure out how they were able to break it, so you can fix it, so it doesn't happen again.
And celebrate whoever fixed it, because they performed a service to the community. Thank you for fixing the build for everyone!
And then celebrate that whoever broke it found a loophole, because loopholes are cool. Thank you for finding a weakness in the system!
And celebrate solving the mystery and closing the loophole, because solving mysteries with friends is awesome, and now your system is more resilient.

Well... Yesterday I wasn't positive enough.... Today, the test shows me two lines...

They did get their boosters. They also went to a big gathering of people last week Saturday, and I guess they had contact with someone who had it (unknowingly?)...
Big bugger!
I got all my jabs, I kept signing myself up when I could and they always accepted and gave me the boosts.
So hopefully my symptoms will remain mild... But still, I am very annoyed now, as I may not have been wearing masks, but I never go to busy areas. And I never get too close to (unknown) people if I can help it. (mostly due to my autism... But still).
Guess I am doomed for now....
Please send awesome dog snaps (or other cute pets) to cheer me up a bit... -

Wake up this morning... my PC is on. Huh. I must have forgotten to turn it off last night. Click it... Oh, it's setting up Windows...
Waitaminute! Last night I clicked "Update and Shut Down"!
Instead it rebooted, stayed on for 10 more hours while I slept, and NOW it's pestering me with ads for GamePass and OneDrive and Office before finishing the update!
#DAMMIT #Microsoft, how many CPU-hours of electricity do you waste worldwide with this behavior? When I say "shut down" I mean "shut down!"

the thing that drives me NUTS when watching tv shows is the shot of two characters driving in a car, and the driver CONSTANTLY turns their head away from the road to carry on the conversation. #WATCHTHEROAD #DAMMIT
