⚠️ Don't reveal the image if you've not seen the latest/last Downton Abbey movie yet, and you still plan to!! It can be a little spoiler, even though I've seen it mentioned already on a few sites... But I don't want to spoil anything, so hence the CW on the image and the warning here. ⚠️
Re-watching the Downton Abbey movies, *again*, as it's just the right time for it... Every movie makes me cry at the end, no matter how often I watch them...
The scene from the last movie, where they have a little "tribute" to the family members that passes away during the series and movies, there is this scene and it has me sobbing when I think of it... 😭
Of course it's of Dame Maggie Smith... I don't cry often for actors/actresses passing away, but I still remember when I got the notification of her passing when I was at the gym. And yeah... I cried... Downton Abbey helped me through so many hard times, where depression, grief, and loneliness were overwhelming me. And Dame Maggie always made me feel better...
So I made this little animation, in honor of Dame Maggie's portrayal of the Dowager Countess Violet Crawley. 💜
