SG was one of my first glimpses of Buddhism. Back in 1989 or so I bought a used hotel nightstand from a warehouse in Honolulu. In the old hotel nightstand’s drawer was a book called “Teachings of the Buddha” rather than a bible. My first Buddhist book, and I still have it today.
