On the reverse is a letter by the #ImreiEmes of #Ger, Rav #AvrahamMordechaiAlter.
The recipient of this heavy-hitting letter was #Rabbi #YosefBaumgarten (1864-1933), the distinguished dayan and later av beit din of #Vienna's famed #SchiffShul. Rav #Baumgarten was a man deeply involved in the global communal affairs of the era, making him the perfect address for this urgent appeal."
