  2. Gently vibrating the brain cells & ears with #DaevidAllen's album Seven Drones, as I fire up the gear in preparation for this year's #DroneDay. What a fine album it is!

  3. Cor blimey! Today it's twenty whole actual earth years since one of my favourite #music gigs (at which I was a performer, at least). The debut performance of #Tripswyche - a VERY #psychedelic, #experimental band comprised of #DaevidAllen (mastermind behind #Gong, on guitars, tapes and nudity), Kavi Samut (from Electric Tepee, on bells, whistles and kaoss), Misbah (poetry and weirdsmithery) and myself (on guitars and inexplicable noise). Held in a grungy venue in a seedy corner of Brisbane's Fortitude Valley on the 1st of April, 2005, it was an incredibly cosmic exploration of death, with added touches of fame, capitalism and art. And humour, definitely humour - it was a highly amusing experience!
