Not much love for Svankmajer here, but I'll recommend one stop-motion short for anyone who's curious: Darkness, Light, Darkness (1989). It's funny, a bit rude, quite brilliant. 7 min.

A lot of his short films are available on YouTube, etc., but the quality is often poor. Svankmajer's work is highly rewatchable, and there's a couple of good box sets available
