Nästan sju år på Trio Emballage, senare NEFAB Trio Emballage. En bunt bilder på mig, från passerkortet när jag blev flyttad in på Tetra Paks emballering till passerkortet som anställd på Tetra Pak. Härligt att se förändringen i mig!
Samt några händelser under denna tid. Flyttat till Hörby, blivit gymråtta, cyklat Cykelvasan, blivit engagerad i Friskis och till och med klippt mig.

What better way to follow up #cykelvasan (#legday) with than a light hike up the ski slopes and a circuit around the alp? Every day is leg day!
Was a nice comfortable hike, really good trails and lots of long skinnies. Still wet at spots but that is what hiking sandals are for.

The deeper into the unseeded groups we get the more comfort mods I see. Rear racks (ftw!), fenders, pumps, big saddles and more bags.

Orange bikes - many dozens
Cool bikes - all plus one (mine counts double because rear rack)
Watching at the first hill, Bergsbacken, and I think I'll start about 75% back in the field. Don't want to be in front and stressed. And not in the middle and be squished by those pushing. So back third will be awesome.
And away the ladies are!
Ahhh #race day morning. Weather will be frikkin awesome, coffee is brewing, breakfast is packed and so are the snacks. Oh so much snacks. Ridiculous amounts of snacks. Like "seriously dude that is too much snacks".
I brought with me for #cykelvasan several shoes to try and see which I would prefer. My regular #cycling #shoes have been uncomfortable lately after an hour's ride. Lots of unclipping and wiggling necessary. Also with me are my low hiking #boots, they work well but lack grip onto the pedals. Tested my Xero #barefoot sandals and had nothing to complain about, except toe chill. Those that surprised me were my #saguaro trainers. Great grip, pedal feel and comfort.
Morning before the day of the #cykelvasan. Excited. Nervous. But ready. Everything set up, #bike handled transport well (not that I expected anything else) and I think I have enough snacks to last me between the checkpoints. I have made a promise to several to stop and have (at least) a picklad cucumber at each stop. Enjoy the #race I will.
Also we have about three hours of dry weather today, then a bigass rain will pass over. Clear skies for raceday though!
Crap... I think my #hardtail is ready for #cykelvasan. And I have two more days before I leave for it.
Wheels are true. Braks are braking. Gears are shifting. Drivetrain is clean. Suspension is serviced. Dropper post is dropping. Bell is ringing.
WHAT HAVE I MISSED???
Two weeks until I leave for #cykelvasan (90km #mtb "race") and guess what I'm doing to my bike?
That's right! Deep service on the drivetrain, replacing pretty much everything to prepare it for wax. I should have done it a month ago. But should have, could have but didn't.
Not converting to waxed drivetrain for efficiency but for less grime and dirt. Keeping it clean easier. But first a really thorough scrub. A real deep one.
Kennt sich jemand besser mit #Garmin aus? Gehe ich recht in der Annahme, dass ein #Grit Wert von 91.1 bedeutet, dass die Strecke recht bissig war? 🙈

Die Strecke war aufgrund der wochenlangen, sintflutartigen Regenfällen in einem über weite Teile gruseligen Zustand, aber so ziemlich alles _irgendwie_ fahrbar, dank der Bemühungen des großartigen Veranstalters und den unzähligen Helfern. Kann man gar nicht genug betonen. Chapeau! 😎

Wenn ich mir das Startareal des #Cykelvasan in Berga/Sälen so anschaue, dann hätte ich dieses Jahr wohl statt meinem #Mountainbike besser Wasserski mitbringen sollen. 🙈
Gut die Hälfte der großen Wiese steht unter Wasser, teilweise einen guten halben Meter hoch. 🌊
Ich hoffe, wir machen am Samstag nicht #Wacken Konkurrenz! 😩
