This was part of the #Broekrock #festival weekend, staying on a campsite nearby.
And, #cycling there and back again. Through, amongst others, a beautiful #Veluwe #heathland. -
I finally got around backing up all the pictures of our #cycling #vacation, checking out the gps files, and now already looking back more positive at the days spend on a bike despite poor weather.
Half a round through The Netherlands, going from Utrecht, via Apeldoorn, Deventer, Groningen to Ameland. And finally to Leeuwarden. Due to unforeseen circumstances we skipped a stretch, but still ended up with 320+km on our touring bikes. With kids, and packing!

Although not a very long stretch, the last two #cycling days did feel long. Mostly dry weather - yeah! - , but strong headwind in flat empty surroundings; cycling through a village called "Leegte", translating to "Emptiness". 😅 -
