Na (re)kole Prahou

Po městě jezdím na kole běžně. Do práce to je pro mě nejlepší způsob dopravy. S autem často nezaparkuju a MHD trvá déle. Co když ale nemá člověk kolo zrovna u sebe nebo je v cizím městě? Poprvé jsem vyzkoušel sdílená kola a byl příjemně překvapený.

If you ever want to go cycling in #Prague, I highly recommend the "Na kole Prahou" (Prague on Bike) app. It's very similar to my favorite #Cyclers, because they're both made by the same vendor. However, it has notes from the local cycling community and extra features that are useful in Prague. And just like Cyclers it's #OSM based.

While #cycling around Prague, I discovered that it's often the fastest means of transportation. For example, I was able to get from Anděl to Florenc (4 km) in 12 minutes with little effort. For me, it's also the cheapest since both #Rekola and #Nextbike give you 2 one-hour-long rides every day if you have the #Multisport card.

@KlausGerdGiesen Thanks for sharing alternatives for #komoot. I was concerned what I should do, if worse comes to worst. But now I can be relaxed. Especially #Brouter and #Cyclers make a really good impression to me.

Trošku se zpožděním, ale napsal jsem o předplatném Mapy.cz. Cena příjemně překvapila, ale já už se naučil používat něco jiného. V druhé části článku se věnuji tomu, co to je a v čem je to lepší než Mapy.cz.

I stumbled across this way to change a suggested route in #Cyclers. You don't drag and drop points, you just draw with your finger where you want to go. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen this in any other navigation app. I think it's cool.

Jezdíte rádi na kole? Tak právě pro vás jsem udělal menší srovnání pěti různých online plánovačů cyklovýletů: Mapy.cz, OsmAnd, Strava, Garmin Connect, Cyclers. Každý na to jde trochu jinak a každý vyniká trochu v něčem jiném.
