thank you so much for five years of cybre. the wonderful community you stewarded did so much for me in so many different ways and even eventually inspired me to start my own instance. i owe the amazing person i am today to my time on cybre.space

that place was my first instance and digital home for a solid five years. i couldn't've asked for a better place on fedi to end up. i was so sad when it went down, but all good things must come to an end eventually. starting cyberpunk.lol was kinda my way of unofficially carrying on the torch. that place meant so much to me

Very funny to see stuff about #cybrespace in my feed this morning because I *literally* called out cybre.space as an instance that showed me the promises of Mastodon when I first started using it in 2017 in the article I've been writing these past few days 😄
