  5. I enjoyed my first day attending #CyberUK for the first time. A bit of a LinkedIn sort of place where people don't say controversial things (and swallow AI hype whole), but it was interesting to see what wasn't said. Ukraine came up a lot as an important partner that we are learning a lot from and is a very valuable ally (not in the context of our supporting them, but their supporting us). The USA was not mentioned in this context. Reading between the lines the importance of sovereignty in our digital security and intelligence so that we can work effectively with our actual allies did come up. ;-) What I enjoyed most was bumping into surprisingly many people I haven't seen in ages, or even never in person.
