  8. Three insights on low-level exploitation as a career from @gynvael's article:

1️⃣ Low-level exploitation is a rare, in-demand skill, but job opportunities are scarce, especially if you want to avoid gray areas.

2️⃣ Most low-level exploits are developed by hobbyists in their spare time, not as part of paid employment.

3️⃣ Vulnerability research offers some opportunities for low-level exploitation, but these roles are rare and highly competitive.

  15. I do network, endpoint, email & DLP security planning and execution for my employer currently. I have opportunity to make a lateral ( I am not keen on climbing the ladder currently ) move into appsec field. although first 18years of my career I spent as developer, I haven't really done any software development in last couple of decades or so. so I might as well be starting at the bottom. Are there any #appsec folks that are willing to talk to me? It will be a huge help to me as I make my decision. And of course I am always willing to return the favour or pay it forward.
