I looked at Lemmy a few times but was somehow confused. For example, is there maybe something about #watercolors? about #knitting? #ArtistTradingCards? #cyberdecks? with no pollution of generic politics and boring crap, I want my dose of escapism. If yes, can I easily join multiple such specific "topics", or do I need new account and password for each?

I know the #blog's been a little quiet over the past 3-4 weeks. I've been utterly swamped with work stuff, and haven't had much time for #cyberdecks. But that doesn't mean that I haven't been thinking about them. I have some new ideas & some new inspiration.

I will be writing it up tomorrow or Tuesday. Assuming that work doesn't intrude (the hazards of self-employment: there is a lot of bleed-through between work life and home life, especially when work & your hobbies have a strong overlap!)

Do you have a podcast you would be happy having archived?

I've been working on a mad project combining #cyberdecks #homelab mini racks and #recycling old tech. I'm in the process of writing it all up so hopefully will publish soon.
It means I've got a portable low power pseudo-server cluster which would work well as an archive - I recently read that podcasts are at risk of disappearing and while #internetarchive does a wonderful job I thought it would be fun to have another archive.

Let me know if you are interested! I only want to host podcasts if given permission
