So, speaking of #ReindeerHerders and #Reindeer, apparently, Reindeer are the only #Cervid species that is immune to #CWD (#ChronicWastingDisease).

Canadian Elk and Deer herds have been contaminated with CWD which is a prion disease and if you know much about prions you know why that's a big deal and a big problem.

The good news is humans and cows don't have the protein to mis-fold.

The bad news includes that the spread in the wild has reached MB and that means BC is likely up soon too.

If this reaches up North I expect this will be a big deal for caribou.
