This article says that people recreated the pilot conversation from a recent #UPS cargo #plane_crash, from the #spectrogram of the #CVR data, that was present in the #NTSB #accident_investigation report.
But why do all of them focus on the use of #AI? Spectrograms can be readily converted back to #audio if you know how to process it. It's just that nobody thought about it before. Is this an #advertisement for AI? Can't we achieve anything without AI anymore?

If VRChat were to actually die one day… I wonder if the user base would transfer to other VR social games like CVR or Resonite. I feel like the core would but the majority of casual players wouldn’t… VRChat just has so much history and so many memes that made it blow up that… for the most part, no other social VR game has had other than maybe rec room but it’s very different compared to VRChat.

Today marks 20 years since the release of the Final Report by Peru's Comisión de la Verdad y Reconciliación (Truth and Reconcilliation Comission). And yet a week ago officials from the Defensoría del Pueblo observed that its recommendations remain unfulfilled.
This is failure of leadership and policy. The conflict that gave rise to that report was fought on the ground of vast disparities in life outcomes for those in rural departments. That any part of the Final Report's policy goals languish should tell you all you need to know about pernicious socio-historic inequalities in Peruvian society that persist to this day.
