In other news, when I went to go get lunch today at my favorite sandwich shop, a few players from the the local Hockey team #cvfirebirds walked in and ordered sandwiches too.
Turns out professional athletes are just people too … and in this case they were all super nice. Had quite a good chat about the upcoming hockey season. Also, only 8 more days until opening night.
Watching the #SeattleKraken game tonight and am so happy to see so many former #CVFirebirds playing. It’s a great way to cap off the awesome Sparta day I’ve been able to have today!
The good guys won last night in a Shootout 4-3 which was nice. Also, the #OntarioReign fans at Toyota Arena in Ontario are pretty classy and friendly ... and the food is a bit better than Acrisure. If these two teams meet in the playoffs, I'm definitely making the 90 minute drive down to watch some games! #CVFirebirds #OntarioReign

@kerneltux not gonna lie, as a #CVFirebirds fan I’m pulling for #CalgaryWranglers to win this one, but that second period showed some good heart from the #ColoradoEagles
I made the JumboTron at the #CVFirebirds game last night … only this time it seems they were (maybe) waiting for me to say my catch phrase “Cheaters go to the Box Bro!” which is what I yell at opposing players that are sent to the Penalty Box.
Home game 27!
The #CVFirebirds are playing the #SJBarracuda and it’s power red glow stick give away night!

The good guys won 4-0. Two empty net goals and a ton of Penalty Minutes. I knew that the Barracuda were bad but seeing it in person was rough. Feel bad for San Jose’s fan base. Yikes! #CVFirebirds #SanJoseBarracuda #AHL
