This red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) is very territorial. Last summer, while watering the plants I noticed it tapping my calves to try to get me to move away from the fig tree on which it was feeding, and then it shrieked very angrily at me from this palm tree.

Esta ardilla roja es muy territorial. El pasado verano, mientras regaba las plantas noté como golpeaba mis pantorrillas para intentar que me alejara de la higuera en la que se alimentaba, y a continuación me chilló muy enfadada desde esta palmera.
