I wanted to design a card that would push all players to try and end the game as quickly as possible before the end is forced upon them.
I also wanted the effects to get worse the closer you are to the end. everything is getting worse all the time.

When ~ enters the battlefield turn all other nontoken creatures face down. As long as those creatures are face down they are artifacts with {2}: Turn this permanent face up.".
Whenever a permanent is turned face up, its controller flips a coin, if they lose the flip they sacrifice that creature and you put a +1/+1 counter on ~." -
