  2. Video games that contain Denuvo and/or force players to accept an agreement that states users may lose access to the product they purchased for any reason whatsoever should not be allowed on Steam.

    There's a reason why I'm sticking with GOG even though their library is much smaller.

  3. Proper consumer protection would force either HP or Humane, I don’t care which, to refund customers the cost of their now-useless hardware. And that should probably come out of the enormous amount that is going to otherwise go to the shareholders/owners in this deal:

  4. First #Disney tried to fend off a wrongful-death lawsuit by invoking an agreement with a widower from a free trial of the Disney+ streaming service. Now #Uber tells a couple severely injured in a car crash that they can’t go to court because their 12 year old daughter had agreed to limiting legal claims to arbitration when she ordered a pizza a year earlier.

    Beware those “Terms of Use”…
