Just played a game of #cursedCity #warhammerquest to explain the rules to someone. Took around 3 hours including setup.

Used the basic Hunt mission from the rulebook as it covers everything you need to know and throws some scary enemies your way. Still a great game.

We did use one house rule – simply to speed up how quickly the spawning groups come into contact with the players, as the whole point of a hunt mission is to kill 10 leader miniatures.

This is Vargskyr from Warhammer Quest: Cursed City.

It was my first attempt at using the #airbrush for something else than terrain pieces. Most of the skin has been done with the airbrush. More traditionnal techniques have been used for the other parts.

After the past 2 days battling with the airbrush, I wanted to get my first #undeath #fedipaint entry closer to completion.
I put a few more colors on the base, combination of shade and drybrush.
I also painted the rocks, and the small vine growing under Vargskyr's foot.
It's missing a couple more coats of nurgle rot, some grass tufts, and another layer of paint around the rim.

Those 14 months have been long, but no miniature of my Cursed City box has plastic grey left on them.
This is a total of 60 miniatures, at 4 to 10h per miniature.
It has been hard to find the time and motivation along this project. But the sculpts were some of the best I have painted so far.

I still have to base everything, I will do that slowly with no target date.

I enjoyed the process of painting with my new dry brushes so much, that I went onto highlights and details immediately.
I might have finished painting Vargskyr. I will have to take another look at it tomorrow to see if I didn't miss anything.
I started to paint the Cursed City models about one year ago, and this is the last hostile to paint. I still have the 8 heroes in their sad grey state.

I've finished painting the Kosargi Nightguard from #cursedcity

I really like those models, they are just the right size on their 40mm bases. They have a lot of textures and edges to pick up, but not too many details so that it's not overwhelming.

It has been feeling good to paint almost every day for the past few weeks.

My daughter went to bed early today. So I managed to slap some extra colors on the Kosargi Nightguard from Cursed City.

Since I switched to AK interactive paints, I struggle a bit with leather, because the paints are very mat, and I would like to add some shine to the leather.
I'm trying to apply Wyldwood contrast over different parts painted with different colors underneath.
