How High We Go in the Dark by Sequoia Nagamatsu has got me in a choke hold! It's a dystopic scifi about an arctic plague that sweeps over the planet, seemingly impossible to stop. What makes this special is that the story is built up through intricately linked perspectives: earlier characters pop up in later chapters and I couldn't help taking notes on who is related to who (in a good, easter egg way).
