The Department of Injustice is now threatening to prosecute PARENTS of teens who defy the city's curfew and special curfews. This is to support that "AmeriKKKa 250" bullshit of course.
I would advise younger folks to respond to this by travelling in groups large enough to defend themselves from random patrolling cops. With enough pressure, this can be forced back to downtown "monument core" areas and kept out of neighborhoods.
Trump's DOJ can fucking kiss my ass with this. Curfew laws are 100% illegitimate regardess of the reasoning behind them. As far as I am concerned, any means necessary may be used to defy curfews and get away with it.
In 2020 at the start of the Uprising, I made damned sure that I was NOT out of the city prior to the start of the all-ages curfews that first week of June. Not only that, I enjoyed a delightful night of post-action outdoor cruising while all the cops were busy at the White House on the last day of it.
Fuck curfews, fuck Trump, fuck the Department of Injustice. Fuck any warrants they issue against parents who reject the racist KKKurfew.
