The #commencementorder which brings it into effect is the "The Charities Act 2022 (Commencement No. 4 and Saving Provision) Regulations 2025".It is a #Statutory Instrument, SI1191 of 2925, signed by the minister #StephaniePeacock MP: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2025/1191/schedule/made.
Its Schedule lists 16 museums which Labour has banned from returning #CulturalLoot.

New UK law allows some museums to return cultural items to the nations they were looted from. But most of the loot is in "national museums" such as the #BritishMuseum, which the so-called "#LabourParty" has excluded from the new law.
