Es ging weiter mit einem Aufruf von Gerd Neugebauer, dem Webmaster von #CTAN (ctan.org), der auch derzeit an einer Aktualisierung der Seite arbeitet.
Er gab ein paar technische Einblicke in die Strukturen und zeigte beeindruckende Statistiken, aber auch visuelle Beispiele des aktuellen Standes der neuen Version.
Das Repo liegt unter https://gitlab.com/comprehensive-tex-archive-network/ctan-site und es gibt definitiv auch nicht nur technische Aufgaben, die ein paar mehr Hänge gebrauchen könnten.

He gave some technical inights, showed impressive statistics and used his presentation to request support especially concerning the development as he is currently working a modernized version of the frontend.

Other than monetary donations, hosting mirrors is a great way to give back to the #TeX community by offloading some of the traffic from the main servers.

Although I have discontinued support and further development of the #TeXLaTeX package #marginnote, I have moved development from #github to #Codeberg, created another release, and also uploaded it to #CTAN. #TeXLive has already adopted the new release. The change it contains to column detection in native twocolumn mode comes from TeX.SX user cabohah. A new maintainer is still being sought.

Obwohl ich Support und Weiterentwicklung des #TeXLaTeX Pakets #marginnote eingestellt habe, habe ich die Entwicklung von #github nach #Codeberg verlagert, eine weitere Release erstellt und auch auf #CTAN hochgeladen. #TeXLive hat die neue Release bereits übernommen. Die darin enthaltene Änderung der Spaltenermittlung im nativen twocolumn-Modus stammt von TeX.SX-Benutzer cabohah. Es wird weiterhin ein neuer Maintainer gesucht.

Musste auf Helvetica umstellen, weil das Paket #uarial wohl aus #CTAN geflogen ist. 😭🙈

Registering a new #expl3 prefix still feels like a big thing …
In case you are curious:
Currently preparing the #TeXLaTeX #ZUGFeRD/#FakturX module and the Dependency Printer for #CTAN uploads. Maybe will not finish everything before TUG next week… but who knows.
Both are still under development but I think spreading them for testing would help that process. [1/3]
