My Specialized Crux 5 with my new XMCS wheelset.
I bought a second set of those very sweet XM CarbonSpeed wheels with the 53-41 rims. This time with gravel bike / road hubs and carbon spokes.
It’s their CS-GDW-53-41 wheelset, featuring 41 mm external width, 32.5 mm internal and 53 mm deep rims, hooked. I went for the Carbon Speed 506 in-house hubs and with the UD paintless finish with their new big XMCS logos. -

I aerotested the new Specialized Crux 5 vs my longstanding No22 Drifter.
Aeroshootout and Total System Efficiency Test of both bikes via Chung Virtual Elevation method and Aerotune in my Allroad-Setup with the Michelin Pro 5 TLR tires in 35-622 and 40-622.
As well as with the Roval Terra Aero CL and the Nextie Premium AGX 45 Wheelsets.Buckle up!

Behold my new Specialized Crux 5.
My new Allroad Bike. 😁
Yes, you read that right - I deliberately purchased it as an allroad bike and as a replacement for my current No 22 Drifter. Which also was/is a gravel bike but really excels as an allroad bike / #fastbar bike.
The same usage envelope I plan for the Crux 5.
