Ich hab da schon mal was vorbereitet...
Heute mache ich ein Gericht mit Crumpets, ein traditionelles englisches Gebäck. Sie bestehen aus einem relativ breiigen Hefeteig (Milch #Hefe #Backpulver Zucker Salz). Nachdem der Teig etwas gegangen ist, werden sie in Servierringen in der Pfanne von beiden Seiten gebacken/gebraten.
Ich habe #Trockenhefe verwendet, hat super funktioniert.

I made sourdough English muffins. Because I need to do something with the sourdough starter.
And yes, I do know that they are actually crumpets. But whatever you want to call them, they taste great.

It was sourdough discard day. A blueberry clafoutis and some crumpets baked in a bun pan. I gave my sister some frozen blueberries and realized there were some in the other freezer too so I doubled hers up and used 4+ cups in a clafoutis.
The crumpets are just starter with a little sugar, salt, and baking soda. King Arthur recipe. I found it's easier to just bake them in a pan than mess with the metal rings I have.
