Sociologist Wolfgang Streeck participated in advancing Agenda 2010. At the time, he was an advisor to Gerhard Schröder and promoted the idea of a low wage sector. It was the biggest social state reduction in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Sahra Wagenknecht left Die Linke on 23 October 2023 to found #BSW her own Eurosceptic, populist party. She is now trying to persuade #AfD to have BSW in a ruling coalition in Saxony-Anhalt or Magdenburg. Wolfgang Streeck remains among her advisers.

The shock when you find out solar panels are made in coal-fired ovens in China with lots of soon-to-be scarce resources that require oil & sulphuric acid, and are not true "renewables" but another source of waste when they need to be replaced in 30 years.

Note: we've installed solar on our roof & I agree we need to decarbonize as fast as we can, but this kind of propaganda that suggests we can do business as usual after switching to solar is also ... just hopium.
