Bestimmte Baumarten halten im Kronendach Abstand zueinander. Von unten betrachtet kann dies zu schönen Mustern führen.
Grund dürfte sein, dass die Bäume das Wachstum einstellen, wenn sie anderen Bäumen zu nah kommen und die Äste der anderen Bäume bei Wind die eigenen beschädigen könnte.
Es sind gleichwohl Unterschiede je nach Baumart feststellbar.
