Last weekend we had a wolf pack wandering the Crown South of our house. They left some great sign, it was just hard to see given the layers we had on. The scat on the cairn was pretty hard to miss though, even with the fresh snow. I guess I should add some hash tags:

Over the last 4 yrs, the #confederacy of Mainland #Mikmaq , the #Unamaki Institute of #NaturalResources & the #KwilmukwMawklusaqn, also known as the #MikmaqRightsInitiative - managed 30,000 hectares of #CrownLand using Mi'kmaw foresty practices.

"So, for the record. If you look at this map. Parcels 1, 2 and 3 were sold, in January 2021, for $680,000 (previously assessed for approximately $1.3 million). In December 2022 parcels 1 and 2 were sold to three people as part of a numbered company for $3 million. Parcel 3 was recently listed for $7 million. That's a $9.320,000 profit off of what was public crown land.
