  1. They would've gotten to the hospital in time, but it was rush hour, and traffic was backed up on the bridge. Deb was moaning.

"The baby's coming, I can feel it!" she said. "I gotta push!"

"Pull over, Fred!" Micky ordered. His brother pulled over as far as he could, but on a bridge there's not much of a shoulder.

Micky climbed into the back seat to check out how things were going. Deb let out a wail.

"Baby's #crowning!" Micky said, awestruck. "Go ahead and push!"

  5. The permanence of the crown doesn't cease to impress me, ..the amount of plundering done by the brittish empire was massive enough that we've seen countless generations go ond and on showered in (stolen) wealth having never worked a single day in their lives.
It's insulting that we celebrate the legacy of villains. #crowning #BrittishEmpire #decolonisation #imperiamism

  7. That's no December #Sky!
    Surely 'tis #June
Holds now her #State on high
    #Queen of the noon.

    Only the #Tree-tops #Bare
    #Crowning the hill,
    Clear-cut in #Perfect air,
    Warn us that still

    #Winter, the aged #Chief,
    #Mighty in #Power,
    #Exiles the #Tender #Leaf,
    Exiles the #Flower.

    Is there a #Heart today,
    A heart that grieves
    For #Flowers that fade away,
    For fallen #Leaves?

  12. “Every year, in #November, at the #Season that follows the hour of the #Dead, the #Crowning and #Majestic hours of #autumn, I go to visit the #Chrysanthemums...

They are indeed, the most universal, the most diverse of #Flowers.”
