Obligatory #intro post! I'm Casey and I love all things crafts, cats, cars and horses (we lost the alliteration with the last one 😅) I thought I would join #mastodon because I wanted a platform on which to share my crafty pursuits that didn't rely on appeasing an algorithm. Yet again I sort my floss in a new #crosstitch kit, and yet again I find it missing a color. What the heck? There is just 7 colors in this kit, and they couldn't even get THAT right? *sigh* OK, so I didn't even have to get my ass out of the sofa to find some thread I could use, but what if someone took this on a trip to stitch, or it was their first try at this hobby? Argh.

Finished stitching a pillowcase last night, but who knows when it will actually turn into a usable object. As most other cross stitchers, I have a box of projects that aren't yet turned into the item it is supposed to become. Stitching is the fun part!

Finished a #santa #ornament for our #christmas tree. I'm going to stitch some backing to it and add a hanging-something (not decided what yet), in time for the tree to be put up. Many Norwegians wait until December 23rd(!), but we usually put ours up a week or two earlier.
