Just built a little Welsh bot in VRChat and it's just... dancing to the beat of my own drum. When I'm not messing around, I'm actually trying to make this thing play a decent game of [game title here]. Fingers crossed, it might just work out.

Je reprends mon intégrale #Crossed avec « The Last Starfighter ». Wikipédia explique sur le film est devenu culte et Karim Debbache l’apprécie.
Perso j’ai eu bcp de mal. Les scènes en image de synthèse vieillottes (le fil est sorti en 1984) ça va encore, ça a un côté historique captivant. Mais le reste… le scénario est naïf, les persos secondaires ont des réactions inexplicables (tout le camping, principalement des petits vieux, déboule ultra excité quand le hero s’apprête à péter le high-score sur une borne d’arcade de jeu de SF à laquelle il était le seul à jouer ??? WTF ?!), mais surtout les aliens sont immondes !!!

Bordel, les #Crossed ne durent qu’une dizaine de minutes chacun. Ce premier épisode ne dure même que huit minutes. Et pourtant, il est d’une richesse épatante, tout en se payant le luxe d’intégrer du running gag.

Soulignons quand même un point intéressant : quand Iggy et Spike (cousins et hommes de main de Koopa) se font « évoluer » pour devenir plus intelligents, ils se révoltent contre Koopa et réalisent qu’il est fasciste, allant jusqu’à le nommer ainsi !

Du coup ce soir j’ai revu « Super Mario Bros. » et c’est vraiment pas bon. Je l’avais kiffé au cinéma à sa sortie, et je vois très bien ce qui m’a plu à l’époque. Mais bordel c’est pas possible. Même le filtre de la madeleine de Proust ne suffit pas à cacher la médiocrité du scénario.

Today tried something completely new for me. Ran a 1 Player 1 GM #TTRPG using text chat (+ dice bot and character sheet). Theatre of the Mind isn't new to me, but I've always played over voice. I don't think text would work well with a full party, but for one player I actually like it.
I'm running #Wightchester, a grimdark city setting, using #WWN system. Replaced the standard zombies with zombies from the #Crossed comics (gorey adult content is another thing much easier to do in 1v1 RP).
