Back from #fairportconvention #cropredy once again!

As ever, like the last (roughly) 30 years I've been going, I've enjoyed all the music and spent my time mostly enjoying the vibes and a field full of good food and beer. Okay, maybe not the beer for most of those 30 years.

Standout acts: Spooky Men's Chorale (great fun), Hayseed Dixie (fab and lovely as ever), Richard Thompson (of course), and Le Vent Du Nord (though we bailed out early due to a 4AM start)

#Cropredy festival is about to be upon us. But in a household where we've all been unwell it feels like more of a struggle to get ready than usual.

We usually go to Fairport's #Cropredy Convention every year. I've gone to it most years I've been alive. This year it's halved the capacity and massively bumped prices, beginning of the end I suspect. We're not going.

However, since we moved, we have a smol festival down the road from us which we can walk to and is £20, so we gave that a go this year. It was lovely and the walk was great even lugging chairs. Not quite the same level musically, but a lovely day in a field w good food!
