    #Cropcircles still occur.
The press stopped covering them as they cause peasants anxiety and questioning consensus reality.

A genuine crop circle, that is, one not made by the two guys with boards interviewed in the 80s...

    Will have specific characteristics.
1-The stalks are bent, not broken
2-There signs of cavitations of the "knees" as if air expanded rapidly
3-Tiny micro spheres are found in the soil
4-The pattern is preserved for a year or two after in the regrowth, as if soil properties have changed.

Some of these characteristics (eg the spheres and cavitation) have been replicated with unshielded microwave ovens.

Some of the patters are super interesting, with some, mathematical 4D projected onto 2D.

  4. Incredible!
Though I imagine the farmer is not thrilled...I say that now, but never thought that when I was this high! <holds hand somewhere near current height>

  9. The earliest known depiction of a crop circle is in The Mowing-Devil (1678), a 5-page pamphlet which recounts a labor dispute ending with an unwitting deal with the devil, and a field mown in way “that no Mortal Man was able to do the like”: publicdomainreview.org/collect #cropcircles

  14. @irregularjoe

    smh

GPS sequences are all very well but you've got to work out your application rates and required volumes of herbicide mix if you're going to do high quality work.

Can the crop circle crowd come up with something better?

  19. Getting so excited when this old Unsolved Mysteries episode began with a story about crop circles and their connection to Stonehenge. Unreasonably happy.

  24. Whatever happened to crop circles?
Did the alien craft just stop visiting, or did post-brexit border restrictions deter them?
