So I had a mini adventure and went #RavensKnoll campground just past #eganville. Of course I was there when a weather yellow alert came through warning of thunderstorms, hail, even possible tornado. I was testing out their trailer rentals- in a mini trailer park.
So I invested my #crone energies into keeping the skies over the campground relatively harmless. When I did final weather check to see how things were looking, this #dragon was graciously keeping the #weather south of us.

I'm just on the threshold, but I am beginning to embrace Old.
I embrace all that I have lived and all that I have loved. All I have survived and how I have, and have not, thrived.
I embrace wisdom and knowledge and increased empathy, compassion and understanding.
I embrace moving a little more slowly and noticing more around me. And yes, the pains and creaks that give me the grace to do so.
And I relish really fitting into my skin and not giving a crap if someone likes me for who I am, or not.Youth-glorifying culture is a mindset; don't subscribe to it.

I’m sitting here in just the light of the Christmas tree lights listening to Ann Sophie Mutter play #Dvorak and I’m glad I’m getting to the #crone years where this is an acceptable form of entertainment on a peak Christmas evening.
We cleared about a quarter acre of alders and undergrowth today so we are tired. But I would be doing this nevertheless.
