There is nothing like crochet for recovery... it can be done lounging, protecting the wound, takes little movement and energy, and is very therapeutic in itself. Apart from that straying from my usual colours was very satisfying and I love the result! The last photo is of squares I made years ago that will be one side of a cushion, the new ones the other side. The pattern is my Small Flower Wheel Coaster Square.

Post op therapy... can't think of a better way to recuperate and heal my body. That and icecream! These beauties will be one side of a mega cushion project I've had lying around for years, the other side will be more muted colours in my usual palette. 💛🤍🩶
