Das Motto des Internationalen Tages der Pressefreiheit am 3. Mai lautet heuer: „Eine Zukunft in Frieden gestalten: Pressefreiheit für Menschenrechte, Entwicklung und Sicherheit fördern.“

Während bei der World Press Freedom Day Global Conference am 04. und 05. Mai in Lusaka, Sambia, über diese Themen gesprochen wird, spinne, stricke und häkle ich im Atelier Mitzi für die Pressefreiheit: Mit meiner Handspindel stelle ich aus alten Zeitungen Papiergarn her. Daraus entstehen gehäkelte Körbe und gestrickte Stücke.
