Updated info for our mutual aid swap. You can swap or just take what you need. The bird watching group meets at 5pm after.
Come meet some disabled activists. Then maybe meet some birds. -
In response to the DOJ opinion I'm recording convos for the radio with other disabled flx who've been in institutions or in danger of losing autonomy.
It'll at least be an oral history that here in Baltimore we put up a fight. We have meaningful lives and deserve the services we receive. Because disabled people of every kind are fucking human beings and have just as much value as non disabled people.
I'm in my own house with my kid and a full life because of Olmstead.

Waking up in the middle of the night like "something's wrong" but it's just that you were born haunted by the ghost of a Victorian child that lives in your spine so you are like "oh ok, just the ghosts" then lie back down with your spine twisted in the most painful way and your constitution haunted by another Victorian child who desperately needs to visit uncle by the seaside.

Baltimore CripplePunks and disabled activists! Don't talk about it be about it!
I'm looking to collaborate with disabled activists who feel as strongly as I do that there is so much information missing by excluding disabled folks in guides about protest safety, law enforcement, healthcare, etc. Help me fill in the gaps.
We can figure out compensation for artwork etc. The entire project won't be all on your shoulders. I will work with you directly. -
I need donations and participants for the Bmore CripplePunk mutual aid swap for local disabled folks (all disabilities are valid) I'm running on the 26th of July (same day as my birdwatching group at 5 js)
I will have had surgery earlier that month and definitely need assistance with setting up.
It runs from 1-3. If you are just donating I can take them whenever. Whatever is left over will be donated to the local disabled community. -
