Hey lovelies. As I was getting ready to post this, "This Woman's Work" started playing, and hand to goodness it came up randomly on Spotify (after I'd chosen the below Love Notes art already). I thought it was a good sign to send out a gentle reminder that we all still have a little life in us yet.
Things are tough right now. Every day we're fighting, every day we're pushing back, and it's exhausting. Please take a break. Please handle today and no matter what happens, even if you stay on that break, come back to this world tomorrow. You have so much life left in you, and you have so much love and kindness to give to this world, and this world to give to you.
You deserve soft times, and love, and we're gonna have to fight for them for a while, but I hope you know you deserve them, and they will happen one day. We just have to hold onto hope.
If I was going to be stuck in the Gravy Basket with anyone, I'm glad it's all of you. Love you Crew.

💌 Love Notes
Hey there crew. It's been a while. I'm sorry this edition is so small after such a huge amount of time. Trying to keep them to 2-4 days, but we'll see how that goes with how behind I am.
It's been a lot lately. Home, work, the world, the fandom, just a lot's been happening all at once. I've been trying to focus on a few things that I've had to work on outside the fandom as well as taking some mental health breaks and that's been keeping me busy.
So tonight, for the love notes, I just wanted to take a second to say thank you. So many of you have been so kind to me and so many others over this past year + that I've been here. Even if I just get to see your name pop up on my notifications for a like or a reblog, or if we chat, or I just get to catch glimpses of your works across the various platforms, it brings me a lot of joy.
Some of you, I only really know through tags. Others I know from discord, or bsky, or instagram. Some of you I've never spoken to outside of tumblr - but I can honestly tell you, you have improved my life by being here.
Others of you, I consider you some of my closest friends. Friends I've never met, miles away around the world, and your influence on me is so incredibly profound - and even if we never meet each other in person, I will never be the same because of you.
I'm so very blessed and lucky to have found this place - to have found you all. I know a lot of you feel the same way about the people you interact with here on the day to day.
That being said, the world is a complicated place. Sometimes things don't go the way we planned, whether on a personal, fandom, or global level. Sometimes people disappoint us, and spaces we thought fit us shift in shape.
No matter what changes for you in this world, I want you to know that your kindness, and your interactions with me and everyone else have made a positive difference. Thousands and millions of tiny interactions continue to happen within our fandom every day.
Some of them don't go the way we hope they will - but the majority of them, are beautiful. Sometimes we have to learn from them, and they help us grow, and sometimes they nourish us in hard times.
We are a community of wonderfully kind people who were brought together by chance. Thank you for being here. Thank you for making my life better, and this world a better place.

💌 Love Notes
Hey lovelies. I know this week was a bit of an emotional roller coaster! The 3 year anniversary of OFMD was on 03/03 and then the 1 year anniversary of David telling us 'officially' there was no renewal was on 03/07.
I remember that day really well. I remember crying at my desk for hours while I tried to work. I remember streaming OFMD with several crewmates trying to find some semblance of calm. It's hard to believe it's been a whole year.
The renewal campaign efforts were so intense those first few months, and then David's message hit us all like a ton of bricks. But you know what? You all still kept showing up.
Whether it was for renewal efforts, menacing WB execs, supporting your fellow crew financially or emotionally, raising money for marginalized groups, for cast & crew in their continued endeavors - you kept showing up.
That's what community is. We show up for each other.
I know the craft fair has been a big topic for several weeks now, and I'm loving every ounce of it because look at what it's done. Over $100,000 for trans youth, our sibs that are currently being targeted by so many people in the US and across the world.
I know we can't afford to spend that much money all the time, but it's so incredibly inspiring what you all can do when you band together.
Please never forget the power you have, individually, but especially as a crew, as a community. We rally together so well because this crew is kind and loving and even when we have our inter-fandom squabbles, we still come together when things are most important and make magic happen.
I hope you know how proud we all are of you lovelies. I hope you all are proud of yourselves for the immense impact you made on so many lives, just by being kind.
Rest well, remember to hydrate, and take some time for you.

Hey Lovelies! I hope you had such wonderful experiences in reminiscing about our show on the anniversary! I have said it before, and I'll say it again, this show changed my life. It changed so many lives, and helped so many people feel comfortable in their own skin. It has truly been a gift to humanity and continues to give us love and hope every day.
I am so very grateful that this show got the two seasons it did, because I ended up getting to meet all of you because of it. We are such an amazing crew, and we have accomplished so much in the art world, as well as the fundraiser world. You all are shining examples of what humanity can be when love and kindness wins. Remember that when these hard days come along and all feels overwhelming. You are the light in the dark times. You make REAL change.

💝 Fandom Donation Update
Something I really wanted to make sure to highlight is some very wonderful folks Jillian Sauers and @FranFranklyOFMD have been tracking the amounts donated to charities by the fandoms since March 2022 and as of the end of the Craft Fair, that number totaled around $300,000!
THAT IS INSANE, Y'ALL. THAT'S ALMOST A THIRD OF A MILLION DOLLARS.
Since then, even more has been updated so I'm sure we'll see a new number soon! Thank you so much Jillian and Frankie for keeping track of that!

That being said, I did want to make sure I boosted this, because it's so very important.
I can't tell you how very proud I am of you all. Seriously. I've been so worried about our Trans sibs since the beginning of this year, and to know that so many of you have stepped up and gone above and beyond to create beautiful queer art, or to bid on that art, or share the craft fair in support of Trans kids, it not only keeps the flame of hope alive in me, but makes it burn so much brighter. You truly are the best crew out there, and I appreciate all you do for each other. We need each other right now so much and you are stepping up like the kind and shining examples of humanity you are. I'm so fucking proud of you. $54,800+ so far.

Hey there lovelies. I was able to finally get this up! Only a couple days behind now. I'd really like to go back to the 2 day recaps because there's been so much more going on lately and it's hard to fit in one tumblr post for any more than 2 days at a time!
I hope you all got a chance to read Chaos Dad's OFMD Fic. I've already seen so much fan art and fics built off of it - which is so uplifting in my opinion. I know there's been questions on whether this is canon, whether it's what we'll see when we get an s3, and I think the answer right now is we just don't know.
It feels very much like a gift to keep us engaged, and spread a little joy and love in the fandom, which we can always use. So don't fret either way okay - just try to enjoy the ride if you can :).
I have to say, like so many others, my favorite quote was: "Your Fight is My Fight, your Family is My Family."
I really hope all of you know that's exactly how I and so many of your crewmates feel about you too. I know times are uncertain right now and we're all struggling to get through. But this IS all of our fights, and you all are our family. So please lean on each other if you can.

Hey there lovelies! I feel like every time I come in here to write to you there's just so much that's happened and I'm so many days behind I just don't know where to start.
So tonight I just wanted to remind you that things will get better. They may get worse before they do, but they WILL get better.
I've seen a lot of scary things, but also so many uplifting things these past few days. People are stepping up, and not being quiet, people are fighting back, people are not giving up hope.
They're taking the threats we all face across this planet seriously, they're being loud and they're being assertive, and they're making a difference (and even annoying people enough for them to take action!)
Every single day matters. Every single voice matters. Every single kindness matters.
So whatever is going on in any given day, please remember to take a moment to be kind to yourself too. You are a very vital piece of this complex ecosystem we call Earth, and you make the world a more unique, diverse, and fantastical place.
Things will get better because you are kind, and you are resilient. Things will get better because you will make them that way - simply by being you.
Whatever happens lovelies, we WILL make things better together.

Hey there lovelies. We're coming up on a new week here soon. I know the past few have been doozies. Something I wanted to remind you of tonight... is just how fucking powerful you are.
You continue to get through every goddamn day like a fucking champ. Whether you are crying or sleeping or busting ass, you are still here and I am so damn proud of you.
You mean something. You matter, and you would be surprised how much you can survive when you have to.
So no matter what, you keep going, okay? If you need to take some time off, if you need to rest, or reach out for help - do it, do what you need to do. If you feel unsafe, reach out, there are a lot of groups out there who can help.
We love you, we want you to be happy, and be yourself, and most of all we want you to be safe.
You are made of love, and kindness, and that is so much stronger than any hate thrown your way.
You are beautiful. Don't forget that.

Hey there lovelies. Been a bit of a time huh? So much has happened in just a weeks time... David Lynch passed, the Gaza Ceasefire was announced, the inauguration in the US happened (I'm about a week late on this edition which is why there's a time discrepancy.)
It has been a complete shit show everywhere, and I've seen a lot of different emotions bouncing around. First and foremost, grief, sadness, fear, but also hope, and perseverance.
Whatever big feels you're feeling right now, please know that they are so incredibly valid. This shit is hard to live through, so take a break, cope how you need to cope okay? You take care of you, and let us know if we can help somehow.
I wanted to share this here because I wrote this the other day as kind of a love note that couldn't wait for a recap, and a way for me to express myself with all the muddled feelings I was experiencing, it's about community and your individual impact.

💌 Love Notes (written January 15)
Hey there lovelies. Wow. This has been a hell of a year so far, huh? It's only the 15th of January, and yet it feels like it's somehow in June or July. Please remember to take some time to yourself today, whatever time it is now.
I think we all could use a break, whether it be from work, or stress, or bad news. This is just a little reminder that our brains like to retrain themselves when things continue to happen. They see bad things, and so they start expecting bad things to help us cope.
If you have a moment, be sure to break up that cycle for your brain. Doesn't matter what it is, it could be very small - buy yourself that fancy coffee or treat, just take a moment to step outside and just breathe in the air for a few minutes where it's calm, or ask a friend for a hug. Hell, go check your folder of fanart or rhys or taika or whomever pictures and just bask in the glory of it all for like 1 whole minute. Just do something small that makes you happy.
Try to do that a couple times a day, or even once a day. Your brain will see that good things can happen, and recognize that not everything is awful, and the more you do those little things, the more your brain will trend back towards hope and things going the right way too.
I know this quote is going back around the last couple days, and I think it's really important:
